Located in Lake Worth, Florida, the Mid County Senior Center is a thoughtfully designed 26,000-square-foot, one-story facility that provides essential services for Palm Beach County’s senior population. The building houses both a full-service Senior Center and an Adult Day Care program, offering a broad range of health, wellness, and social enrichment opportunities.
CREATING A COMPREHENSIVE SENIOR CENTER
Constructed with durable CMU walls and sloped wood truss roofs topped with cement tile, the facility includes a multipurpose room, exercise room, arts and crafts space, and a full-service food area to support daily programs and events. Each interior space is designed to encourage activity, engagement, and accessibility for older adults.
The project also included extensive site improvements such as earthwork, underground utilities, a private lift station, paving, parking, and landscaping. Together, the building and site create a welcoming, accessible, and supportive environment tailored to the needs of the senior community.
