As part of a broader effort to enhance public amenities, the Tamarac Sports Complex Concession Building project delivers a dynamic new two-story facility that blends recreation, service, and community engagement. The project began with the complete demolition of the existing concession structure, making way for a 4,428-square-foot modern replacement.
CONSTRUCTION WITH PURPOSE: RECREATION AND CONNECTIVITY
Designed to serve both athletic and civic functions, the ground level features a concession stand that supports the nearby sports fields, along with public restrooms and storage areas to accommodate park operations. The second floor introduces a multipurpose room intended for community events, classes, and city programming, with large windows along the east, south, and west elevations providing sweeping views of the soccer fields, playground, and football grounds.
A notable component of the facility is its IT data room, establishing the building as a future-ready communication hub for the City of Tamarac. The structure’s flexibility, visibility, and technological readiness position it as more than just a concession building, it is a new anchor for recreation, connectivity, and civic life within the park.
