Kimpton Epic Hotel

This project encompassed a refined interior renovation at the Epic Hotel in Miami, focused on transforming both the 16th-floor private dining rooms and typical guestroom interiors. The dining room renovation involved reconfiguring approximately 700 square feet by removing dividing walls to create a more expansive and flexible gathering space. Remaining walls were repaired and repainted, select electrical components were strategically relocated, and a new double door was installed to improve access. While the HVAC system remained untouched, the ceilings, both existing and new, were refreshed with updated finishes to maintain the elegant ambiance expected of a high-rise hospitality environment.

GUESTROOM MODERNIZATION WITH ACOUSTIC FOCUS

In parallel, the project also modernized the hotel’s typical guestrooms, each approximately 500 square feet. These renovations included the relocation of electrical outlets, installation of new floor tile with STC 50 and IIC 50 rated underlayment for sound control and repainting of all interior walls. The updates aimed to enhance guest comfort and acoustical privacy, while preserving the sleek, contemporary character of the hotel’s interior design.
