Pahokee Tiki Bar

Perched along the scenic edge of Lake Okeechobee, the Pahokee Tiki Bar is a thoughtfully designed interior build-out that converts an existing shell structure into a welcoming, lakeside destination. The vision was clear: create a warm, rustic-contemporary space with a flexible layout that supports everything from casual dining to community gatherings.

SCENIC SETTING MEETS THOUGHTFUL INTERIORS

The open-plan layout features a bar, kitchen, and table-top seating, allowing the interior to easily adapt to different uses and seasonal arrangements. The design leans into natural textures, with wood and stone finishes used throughout to achieve a look that’s both refined and rooted in its environment.

One of the project’s key challenges—and creative triumphs—was addressing HVAC system placement within the existing vaulted ceiling. Limited space inspired an innovative solution: housing the HVAC equipment above the bar, encased in a custom platform and enclosure that seamlessly blends with the design. The result is not only practical—it became a standout architectural feature and visual centerpiece of the space.
