Stuart Memorial Park has been thoughtfully reimagined into a serene and symbolic community space that honors the past while embracing the natural environment. At the heart of the renovation is a ceremonial plaza and stage that preserves the park’s original Veterans Memorial. The plaza features six flagpoles—one prominently placed near a grand entrance arch for the American flag, and five more on stage representing the branches of the U.S. Armed Forces: Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, and Coast Guard.

A small, man-made lake adds tranquility to the landscape, complemented by pavilions and a wooden pedestrian bridge that invite quiet reflection or casual gatherings. The perimeter is lined with a paved walkway, perfect for strolling, and enhanced by a landscaped bio-swale designed to naturally collect and filter stormwater before it reaches the St. Lucie River Estuary.
Framed by the dramatic archway along East Ocean Boulevard, the revitalized park welcomes visitors into a space that blends civic pride, environmental stewardship, and community gathering.
