Blending creative engineering with community collaboration, the Town Centre Park Skate Park is a high-impact recreational space designed within tight site constraints and challenging soil conditions. The park had to be carefully configured to fit within an existing sidewalk perimeter, requiring precision design and construction.

INNOVATIIVE DESIGN WITHIN A COMPACT FOOTPRINT

West collaborated with a specialty skate park designer to produce innovative conceptual layouts that met both spatial limitations and community aspirations. The firm also provided contract documentation, participated in public engagement meetings, and served as the general contractor. To ensure the project stayed within budget, a value-driven construction strategy was employed—resulting in a high-quality skate facility without compromise.

Features include custom-built rail grinds, hip ramps, tabletops, and shade canopies for skaters and spectators alike. The skate park has quickly become a local hub for youth recreation and community gatherings.
