BB Utilities Administration Building

Boynton Beach, FL

The renovation of the City of Boynton Beach’s Utilities Administration Building encompasses approximately 15,087 square feet at 124 E. Woolbright Road. The project focuses on reimagining existing interior space to improve efficiency and adaptability for staff operations.

ADAPTABLE DESIGN FOR AN EVOLVING DEPARTMENT

The first phase includes infilling the existing atrium to create a new first-floor conference room and additional workstation space on the second floor. Interior reconfiguration continues throughout both levels with selective demolition of non-bearing walls to form new office layouts and optimize open workstation areas.

The renovation also upgrades the building’s finishes and infrastructure—replacing wall, floor, and ceiling materials, installing new lighting fixtures, doors, and frames. The kitchen is also enhanced with new code-compliant millwork, equipment, and an exhaust hood system. These improvements modernize the facility to better support current and future needs of the Utilities Department.
