Haverhill Medical Office Building

West Palm Beach, FL

This project centered around the thoughtful design of a healthcare building on a site with significant spatial limitations. The compact footprint led to a shallow floor plan, which naturally enhances interior daylighting by allowing sunlight to reach deep into the space—reducing the reliance on artificial lighting and promoting a calming environment for patients. The architectural expression reflects a clean, warm, and modern aesthetic, intended to create a sense of wellness and comfort for visitors and staff alike.

SUSTAINABLE DESIGN MEETS PATIENT-CENTERED PLANNING

In addition to its inviting form, the building incorporates a number of sustainable design features. These include a covered walkway for weather protection, dedicated recycling areas, insulated glazing to improve thermal performance, and an energy-efficient HVAC system. Water-saving plumbing fixtures further support environmental responsibility. Despite the site constraints, the design team achieved a high-performing, patient-centered facility that exemplifies both thoughtful planning and environmental stewardship.
