The conceptual design for the Marathon Key Service Building resulted in a two-story, 5,500-square-foot structure that was thoughtfully crafted to serve both operational needs and community context. The facility was designed to accommodate nine office spaces, daily-use amenities, equipment areas, and storage, all arranged to maximize efficiency while maintaining an approachable atmosphere for staff and visitors.
CONTEMPORARY MUNICIPAL BUILDING ROOTED IN THE CHARACTER OF THE KEYS
Set within the unique landscape of the Florida Keys, the building embraced local architectural cues and coastal influences. The design integrated clean, modern lines with site-responsive detailing, allowing the structure to harmonize with its surroundings. This project offered a solution that elevated the quality of municipal service environments—balancing practical requirements with a design sensibility.
