Marco Island Fire Station 50
Marco Island, FL
The renovation of Marco Island Fire Station 50 represents a commitment to public safety through thoughtful upgrades and expanded facilities designed to better serve the growing community. Located in the heart of Marco Island, the existing station underwent a comprehensive redesign to improve response readiness and day-to-day efficiency for fire and emergency personnel.
CONCEPTUAL DESIGN THAT REDEFINES EMERGENCY RESPONSE FACILITIES
The station’s updated layout includes dedicated areas for fire and EMS operations, an apparatus bay, and improved accommodations for daily living, exercise, and training activities. These enhancements allow for streamlined workflows and improved team coordination during high-demand situations.
To further address the city’s operational needs, a new annex facility was introduced adjacent to the main station. This addition houses a kitchen, break room, locker rooms, training classrooms, and administrative offices—offering expanded space for instruction, recovery, and planning.
By blending modern upgrades with practical expansion, Fire Station 50 now stands better equipped to protect and serve the Marco Island community with greater speed, comfort, and reliability.
