Melrose Irrigation Supply & Sales

This project involved the development of a one-story, approximately 5,000-square-foot office warehouse building constructed with masonry walls and a low-sloped roof. Full site development included sidewalks, landscaping, driveways, parking, a dumpster enclosure, drainage, water and sewer connections, site lighting, and the abandonment of a public utility easement.

STRATEGIC SITE LAYOUT ENHANCES STREET PRESENCE AND SCREENING

The design approach prioritized neighborhood compatibility, active street frontage, and quality construction through thoughtful architectural elements and material selection. The building adopts a contemporary Florida industrial architectural style and is strategically positioned to front Boutwell Road, aligning with adjacent structures and reinforcing the streetscape. A corner tower feature creates a focal point at the reconfigured intersection of Boutwell Road and 7th Avenue North. The layout also considers public sensitivity, placing overhead doors, outdoor storage, and loading areas on the east side of the site—shielded from public view to preserve the visual quality of the surrounding environment.
