This project seamlessly blends historical preservation with contemporary community development. The Southside School, a cherished historic structure, was restored to accommodate educational programs for Nova Southeastern University. The restoration focused on preserving the building’s original architectural character, including the existing hardwood floors, while integrating modernized electrical and mechanical systems to support today’s academic needs.
MODERN SYSTEM UPGRADES WITHIN A HISTORICALLY PRESERVED SCHOOL
Adjacent to the school, Hardy Park has been reimagined with the addition of new shade structures and the construction of a multi-use pavilion. These enhancements provide comfortable gathering areas for recreation and events, supporting the park’s growing role as a vibrant community hub.
