The transformation of Jaycee Park reimagined a once-dated community park into a vibrant, accessible intracoastal retreat. The project began with the full demolition of the existing grounds, clearing the way for a redesigned park that emphasized both recreation and connection to the natural waterfront setting.
PARK IMPROVEMENTS INCLUDED NEW PLAY FIELDS, PATHWAYS, AND PICNIC PAVILION
New sod playing fields provided open space for informal sports and leisure, while concrete walking paths encouraged movement and exploration. Landscaped bocce ball courts offered a relaxed gathering space, and a decorative fencing system helped define the park’s edges without disrupting views. A thoughtfully designed picnic pavilion served as a central social hub, welcoming families and visitors to enjoy shaded seating near the water.
To support increased activity, the project also delivered upgraded parking areas, modern restroom facilities, and a youth playground designed to inspire imagination and movement. Jaycee Park’s renewal became a model for creating multi-use, intergenerational green space with environmental sensitivity and community focus at its core.
