Lake Park Harbor Marina

Riviera Beach, FL

The Lake Park Harbor Marina improvement project focused on addressing critical subsurface issues beneath the marina’s heavily used pedestrian walkways. The scope included the removal of approximately 11,820 square feet of existing brick paver walkway to assess and remediate hidden voids caused by seawall joint leaks.

PERFORATED DRAINAGE SYSTEM AND DRAIN FIELD INSTALLED TO MANAGE WATER

Following the careful removal of surface materials, areas exhibiting subsurface instability were treated using chemical grout injection. This method stabilized the soil and prevented future erosion. Perforated pipe systems and drain fields were then installed to improve drainage and mitigate water intrusion. Once all voids were filled and compacted, a durable and low-maintenance concrete sidewalk was constructed in place of the pavers.
