Losner Park

Homestead, FL

The redevelopment of Losner Park reimagines a once modest .68-acre park into a vibrant 3-acre civic space at the heart of downtown Homestead. The project included comprehensive site improvements such as a military memorial, a new playground, a water feature fountain, a band shell for events, and a full-service restaurant. Enhanced landscaping ties the space together, creating an inviting atmosphere that encourages community gathering and public enjoyment.

CONSTRUCTION REVITALIZES LOSNER PARK AS CULTURAL AND CIVIC LANDMARK

Strategically located between Krome Avenue and the city’s new police station—and adjacent to the historic Seminole Theater—Losner Park now serves as a cultural and recreational anchor for the city. Acting as a symbolic gateway to the Everglades and Biscayne National Parks, it not only boosts civic pride but also draws visitors, enhancing the downtown economy and supporting surrounding local businesses.
