Mangrove Park was thoughtfully designed to blend recreation, education, and environmental stewardship within a scenic waterfront setting. The project includes a fully accessible public boat ramp, offering convenient access to local waterways for boaters and kayakers. Surrounding the launch area is a welcoming picnic zone equipped with benches and tables, encouraging families and visitors to relax and enjoy the outdoors.
PARK BUILT AROUND EDUCATION, ACCESS, AND ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP
A key feature of the park is the Environmental Education Center, which provides a space for interpretive displays, programs, and hands-on learning about the region’s unique coastal ecosystem. Adjacent to the center are new sidewalks, an asphalt access roadway, and ample public parking to accommodate guests and facilitate smooth circulation.
Restroom facilities are centrally located to support daily visitors and event programming. The entire park was designed to reflect its natural surroundings, making it a vibrant and educational community destination that highlights the importance of preserving Florida’s mangrove habitats.
