Phil Foster Park underwent a full-scale renovation that transformed the existing site into a dynamic, multi-use recreational destination while preserving public access throughout construction. A major priority during the project was maintaining 50% operation of the boat ramps and adjacent parking areas at all times—an effort that ensured uninterrupted use for the boating community.
MARINE INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVED WITH NEW DOCKS, BULKHEADS, AND SEAWALL REPAIRS
A significant portion of the budget was dedicated to marine infrastructure, including the repair and renovation of bulkheads, seawalls, boat ramps, and the addition of new fixed and floating docks. On land, the project introduced a new lifeguard/restroom building, an equipment storage structure, and multiple shaded pavilions for gatherings and events.
Additional improvements include a children's playground and numerous site amenities, all thoughtfully designed to enhance the experience of parkgoers. With upgraded infrastructure and expanded features, Phil Foster Park now stands as a resilient and accessible public space celebrating both land and water recreation.
