South Florida VA National Cemetery

Lake Worth, FL

The VA National Cemetery was completed in two distinct phases to create a respectful and fully equipped final resting place for veterans. Phase one involved comprehensive site preparation, including clearing and excavation of 65,000 cubic yards of fill material. This initial phase also incorporated extensive infrastructure work such as the installation of water and sewer systems with a lift station, storm drainage, and two on-site retention ponds. A new parking area was constructed, providing 67 spaces, including four ADA-compliant spots, to accommodate visitors and staff.

TWO-PHASE CEMETERY PROJECT HONORS VETERANS WITH INFRASTRUCTURE AND FACILITIES

Phase two focused on vertical construction, delivering two essential buildings for operational support and public use. The first was a 2,327 square foot Maintenance Building designed to house equipment and support cemetery operations. The second was a 728 square foot Restroom Building to serve the needs of visitors. Together, both phases created a dignified and functional cemetery environment that honors veterans and meets long-term operational needs.
