At Welleby Park, the project focused on enhancing pedestrian connectivity and accessibility through the replacement of the existing asphalt trail. The original trail and its base material were removed and replaced with a new 8-foot-wide FlexiPave porous pavement system, spanning approximately one mile in length.

This eco-friendly, durable surface not only improves drainage and comfort for walkers, joggers, and cyclists but also supports sustainable park infrastructure.
Additional enhancements included the fabrication and installation of custom trail signage and distance marker medallions, offering both wayfinding and fitness-tracking benefits to park visitors. As part of the upgrade, select existing site furniture was thoughtfully relocated to better align with the new path layout and improve the overall user experience.
