Fire Rescue Station 3 in West Palm Beach stands out as a mixed-use facility that redefines what a modern fire station can be. Integrating a public Community Room into its program, the station has become not only a hub for emergency response but also a space for civic engagement.
HONORING FIRE SERVICE HISTORY THROUGH ARCHITECTURE
Awarded for Excellence in Building Construction, the station is celebrated for its exceptional craftsmanship and rich design narrative. Throughout the project, contributions from community donors enabled enhancements that elevated the design, including mosaic tile reliefs, imported hand-painted tiles, and custom lighted entry gates.
The building also honors the history of fire service with artistic light fixtures made from retired firefighting gear and restored historic panels from the 1920s—now prominently displayed on the entry tower.
