Fire Station #11

Cudjoe Key, FL

This project involved the construction of a new Monroe County Fire Station—a one-story, 8,007-square-foot facility built of masonry and concrete. Designed to meet the Florida Green Building Coalition’s (FGBC) Green Commercial Certification standards, the fire station reflects Monroe County’s commitment to sustainability and resilience.

MONROE COUNTY FIRE STATION MEETS GREEN BUILDING STANDARDS

The scope included site clearing, debris removal, and comprehensive site modifications and utility improvements. The completed station is fully weatherproof, secure, and suitable for continuous human occupancy, in full accordance with all project specifications and design documentation. The final result is a modern, code-compliant emergency services facility that supports both operational needs and long-term environmental goals.
