Fire Station #110
Lauderhill, FL
Designed to meet the evolving needs of modern emergency response, Fire Station No. 110 in Lauderhill, Florida, stands as a high-performance, environmentally responsible facility dedicated to protecting both people and the planet. Located on a 61,012-square-foot site, the new fire station includes a fully integrated three-bay, double-deep apparatus hall, designed to accommodate fire and rescue trucks with ease and efficiency.
SUSTAINABLE. RESILIENT. MISSION-READY.
The building houses living quarters for a staff of seven, as well as essential support spaces including offices, equipment and storage rooms, a dedicated police office, and a fully outfitted Emergency Operations Center (EOC). The facility’s site improvements include interior roadways, a fueling station, and an emergency backup generator, with full integration to all public utilities.

Beyond its operational capabilities, Fire Station No. 110 also serves as a model for sustainable civic infrastructure. In recognition of its environmentally conscious design and construction, the station received the U.S. Green Building Council South Florida Region’s Most Outstanding Green Fire Station Award in 2018. Sustainable elements and building systems were carefully selected to reduce energy use and environmental impact while enhancing indoor air quality and occupant well-being.
As both a vital community asset and a beacon of resilient, sustainable design, Fire Station No. 110 demonstrates how municipalities can deliver critical infrastructure with innovation, responsibility, and long-term value.
