Fire Station #45

Hollywood, FL

This project involves the demolition of the existing Fire Station and Garage Building located at 1810 N 64th Avenue in Hollywood, Florida, followed by the construction of a new 7,224-square-foot LEED Silver-certified fire station. The new one-story facility features two apparatus drive-through bays, nine bunk rooms, a day room, kitchen, exercise room, watch room, offices, bunker gear storage, laundry room, general storage areas, and other support spaces.

HOLLYWOOD FIRE STATION PROJECT COMBINES OPERATIONAL NEEDS AND LEED STANDARDS

The building is designed as a reinforced CMU structure with reinforced concrete slabs, providing durability and storm resilience. Site development includes front and rear access drives with concrete aprons, 20 standard and accessible parking spaces, and compliant sidewalk and pathway systems for individuals with physical disabilities. Additional improvements consist of site lighting per City of Hollywood code, as well as upgraded irrigation and landscaping to complete the redevelopment.
