AUTEC Federal Building
West Palm Beach, FL
The renovation of the AUTEC Federal Building in West Palm Beach, Florida, represents a comprehensive modernization effort designed to enhance both the experience of visitors and the long-term performance of the facility. The project includes full interior and exterior upgrades, transforming the building into a more efficient, secure, and accessible federal service center.

BUILT TO MEET MODERN FEDERAL REQUIREMENTS
Inside, a new customer service center has been thoughtfully built out, complete with a reception area, service windows, multiple offices, and conference/training rooms. Four General Services Administration (GSA) restrooms were expanded and upgraded to current accessibility standards. Beyond interiors, the project also addressed long-standing exterior water intrusion issues—implementing roof repairs, sealing expansion joints, and replacing aging fiberglass panels.
New storefront and window systems were installed to improve building envelope integrity and energy efficiency, while accessibility and security enhancements bring the facility in line with current federal requirements. The installation of a new Dedicated Outdoor Air Handling Unit (DOAHU) adds improved air quality and energy performance to the list of modernized systems.
