PROJECT INFORMATION
Airport Non-Movement Area – Phase 3 focused on enhancing airfield safety and efficiency through a series of targeted improvements. The project involved the widening of existing taxiway fillets to better accommodate modern aircraft maneuvering, along with the construction of a new taxiway connector complete with structural pavement, airfield lighting, and turf restoration through strategic sodding.
CLEARING THE WAY FOR FUTURE AIRPORT DEVELOPMENT AND EXPANSION
Schedule B of the project addressed essential concrete pavement maintenance, including crack sealing and repairs to preserve runway integrity and prolong the service life of the pavement.
Schedule C encompassed the demolition and thorough cleanup of a general aviation ramp area, clearing the way for future development and optimizing use of apron space. Altogether, the improvements made during Phase 3 represent a crucial step in advancing the airport’s long-term operational capacity and safety goals.
