PROJECT INFORMATION
This neighborhood beautification and streetscape enhancement project revitalized the iconic Clematis Street corridor, a vibrant area that operates around the clock with a mix of clubs, restaurants, and daytime businesses. The comprehensive scope included traffic calming measures, full replacement of street and sidewalk lighting, decorative paver crosswalks, asphalt milling and resurfacing, as well as new landscaping, irrigation systems, and site furnishings.
PHASED STREETSCAPE IMPROVEMENTS ENHANCE URBAN LIFE
Given the active nature of the corridor, the project demanded thoughtful phasing and constant collaboration with the City, Downtown Development Authority (DDA), business owners, and the public. The result is a safer, more welcoming, and aesthetically cohesive streetscape that supports the street’s dynamic character and improves the pedestrian experience without disrupting its 24-hour vitality.
