Coconut Palm Fire Station #70

Miami, FL

Coconut Palm Fire Station 70 is a single-story fire rescue facility encompassing approximately 11,939 square feet of advanced public safety infrastructure. Designed to meet LEED Silver Certification standards, the station reflects Miami-Dade Fire Rescue’s commitment to energy efficiency, modern construction, and resilient service delivery.

LEED SILVER CERTIFIED DESIGNED FOR IMPACT AND EFFICIENCY

Constructed using CBS (concrete block structure) construction, the station includes critical operational elements such as an emergency generator, solar collectors, and a LEED Energy Management System (EMS). The layout accommodates advanced HVAC and fire protection systems, a dedicated communications hub, and a secure card access system for controlled entry.

The project scope included comprehensive site development—from site clearing and earthwork to asphalt paving, utility coordination, landscaping, irrigation, and subterranean termite control. Interior features include cabinetry, floor tile, acoustical ceilings, and modern finishes, all designed to support the station’s long-term performance and comfort.
