Fire Station #36
Tamarac, FL
Fire Station No. 36 is a new benchmark in municipal emergency infrastructure for the City of Tamarac. Designed and constructed through a turnkey Design-Build delivery method, the 13,595± square-foot facility brings together cutting-edge functionality, structural resilience, and site-specific planning to meet the city’s growing public safety needs.
DESIGN-BUILD DELIVERY FOR UNINTERRUPTED PUBLIC SERVICE
The project was strategically phased to maintain continuous operations at the existing temporary fire rescue station, located on the western 1.4 acres of the site. Construction of the new permanent station took place on the adjacent 2.0-acre parcel, ensuring no disruption to emergency services throughout the development process.

The scope of work included complete product specification development, architectural and engineering design, permitting, and ground-up construction of a hardened fire station equipped to withstand severe weather events and support round-the-clock operations. The station is designed to accommodate modern firefighting equipment, operational staff, and emergency response coordination—all housed within a durable and efficient footprint.
With its forward-thinking design, seamless integration into city services, and robust construction standards, Fire Station 36 not only enhances Tamarac’s emergency response capabilities but also sets a precedent for future-ready civic development in South Florida.
