This LEED Silver-certified complex reflects a thoughtful approach to sustainability, staff well-being, and government infrastructure. The project comprises two distinct buildings: a 5,600-square-foot Administration Building and a detached Maintenance Facility, developed to support the essential services of the Solid Waste Authority.
CONSTRUCTING A LEED SILVER-CERTIFIED COMPLEX FOR CIVIC OPERATIONS

The Administration Building includes ten private offices, a spacious lobby, a break room, and multi-purpose training areas, all organized around daylight-enhancing design principles. Interior glazing transmits natural light from perimeter offices into common circulation zones, reducing the reliance on artificial lighting. A 685-square-foot covered patio offers employees an outdoor reprieve, encouraging informal gathering and breaks in a shaded, open-air environment.
Achieving LEED Silver certification, the project emphasizes energy conservation through high-efficiency HVAC systems, daylighting strategies, and occupancy sensors. It showcases how civic buildings can adopt environmentally responsible practices without compromising utility or comfort. This facility serves not only as a vital operations center but also as a model for sustainable municipal design.
